E-Claims Manager quickly captures incident and injury
reports, analyzes the data, determines when an Employer's
Report of Accident or Injury is required, and automatically
completes Form 7 for electronic filing with the WSIB.
After filing, ongoing health and safety management
is easy. E-Claims Manager enables you to record investigation
details, identify causal factors and assign corrective
actions. You can track incidents that require further
investigation and monitor the status of corrective actions.
E-Claims Manager also assists you with developing appropriate
accommodated work plans, using standard restrictions
and limitations when functional abilities forms remain
outstanding. The system monitors the plan, alerts you
when updated functional information is required, analyzes
the functional information over a period of time, and
informs you of any apparent deterioration in the employee's
condition. When managing complex claims, E-Claims Manager
will propose additional claims management strategies,
including recommendations for referral to WSIB specialty
assessment programs and application for cost relief.
E-Claims Manager monitors and analyzes accident cost
data in real time and alerts you as it changes. NEER
costs are continually updated so that at any time you
can determine the NEER cost of a claim, and its impact
on your organization’s rebate or surcharge position.
As NEER costs are directly impacted by duration of claims
and the types of benefits paid, E-Claims Manager provides
you with both current NEER cost and projected NEER cost
of claims for future years. You can also create ‘what-if’
scenarios to determine the cost impact of different
claims management options over the NEER-life of a claim.
